Upon joining the service ($24.95 one time membership fee) we will send you our MS Windows software (you can download it free of charge from this web site) and a personalized password. After installing the software, enter the symbols you want to follow, select the start date, and click on communications\retrieve. That's it! You will access our database via a toll free 800 number at 2400, 9600, 14400, 28800, or 33600 baud. Retrieval is easy and only takes a few minutes. Historical downloading will, of course, take longer. We have historical data for stocks, futures, indices, and mutual funds back to 1989. Option and market statistic data starts on 7/1/97.

Internet Service (A): This service works just like the 800 Service above. Upon signing up for T.B.S.P.'s Trader's Access Internet Service ($24.95 one time membership fee), receiving your personalized password, and our Trader's Access software and/or our ASCII Downloader (you can download them free of charge from this web site): A) After installing the software, enter the symbols you want to follow, select the start date, log on to the web your usual way and click on communications\retrieve. That's it! Retrieval is easy and only takes a few minutes. Historical downloading will, of course, take longer. We have historical data for stocks, futures, indices, and mutual funds back to 1989. Option and market statistic data starts on 7/1/97. The Internet (A) service has an added bonus - it includes fundamental data for the stocks you are following if you use our Trader's Access software. The ASCII Downloader is an easy to use program that allows you to quickly download data into ASCII files only. It does not contain any charting or data manipulation - just the downloading of data in simple to read ASCII format.

Internet Service (B): This internet service is designed for those of you that need bulk data for your own programs to manipulate. 1) Use your web browser to access our special web data pages, or, if you know how to FTP, you can reliably FTP to our tbsp.com ftp site.; 2) You have your choice: Download every quote for the day (1600k zip file) or individual types (85k to 1100k) in their own zip files. For historical data, retrieve previous day/history files. Historical data dates back to January 1, 2003, for all stocks, futures, indices, and mutual funds. Option and market statistic data is available back to January 1, 2003; 3) Once the file(s) are downloaded, unzip the file(s) yourself and manipulate the data any way you desire. (Note: If you need data back to 01/01/1990 - we have Data CD-Roms with that data)

A quote is one day's data for one symbol and includes: Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Open Interest (if applicable). Thus, today's quote for IBM is one quote. Yesterday's and today's is a total of 2 quotes. IBM's data for a year is 251 quotes (about 251 trading days in a year).

Plan A & B: If you exceed 200,000 quotes during a month we will charge you $.0025 for every quote over 200,000. Plan D: If you exceed 50,000 quotes during a month we will charge you $.0025 for every quote over 50,000. Plan E & G: If you exceed 10,000 quotes during a month we will charge you $.0025 for every quote over 10,000.
