Change Data Description - Allows you to modify a selected data point (a data point must be highlighted). Purpose - There may be times when your data becomes corrupt, but fixable. You can use this selection to change the data for the specific date. From the "Edit Menu, click on Change Data You will see the Change Data window. Enter in the corrected data in the appropriate field(s), Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, and/or Open Interest. Press [Enter] or click on [Change] ![]() |

Modify Data Description - Allows you to modify a selected range of data points (the data point(s) must be highlighted). Purpose - There may be times when your data becomes corrupt, but fixable. You can use this selection to change the data for the specific date(s). From the "Edit Menu, click on Modify Data You will see the Modify Data window. Click on the operation you would like to perform on the Price (Add, Subtract, Multiply, or Divide). Enter in the factor for the price. If you want to perform the operation of the Volume also, click on the appropriate operation and enter in the factor. Note - it you only want to modify the price - leave the factor for the volume at 1. Also, If you want to just modify the volume for the data, leave the price factor at 1. Press [Enter] or click on [Modify] ![]() |

Splits Description - Allows you to perform manual stock splits on a selected symbol (a data point must be highlighted). Purpose - You can manually split the data with this selection. From the "Edit Menu, click on Split... You will see the Split Window: Split Date - Select the date on which the split occurred. Split Ratio - New Shares - Type in the number of New Shares (i.e. 2 for a 2 to 1 split). Old Shares - Type in the number of Old Shares (i.e. 1 for a 2 to 1 split). Split Volume - To be very precise regarding the split, you should also inversely split the volume to maintain consistency. Click here to inversely split the volume. Disbursements Description - Allows you to perform a disbursement for a mutual fund (a data point must be highlighted). Purpose - Since the Trader's Access database does not perform automatic disbursements for mutual funds, you can manually perform a fund's disbursement. From the "Edit Menu, click on Disbursement... You will see the Disbursement window. Disbursement Date - Select the date on which the disbursement occurred. Disbursement Amount - Type in the amount of the disbursement. Press [Enter] or click on [Disburse] ![]() |
