Because
this is a MS Windows program, you can arrange the Trader's Access
windows any way you want - in this example:
- Top Window
- This
is a List Window where the symbols and pertinent info about them
is displayed - The List Window is the control for viewing charts
and data. Double click on a symbol to bring up its Chart Window.
Right click on the symbol to bring up its Data Window. Notice
the symbols with green highlights for the Price Change and Percent
Change - this is showing you that the symbol's price moved up
more than 5% in one day (A red highlight - not shown - would
be a down move of more than 5%).
- Lower Left
Window - This
is a Data Window where the symbols raw data is displayed (Open,
High, Low, Close, Volume, Open Interest, Price Change, % Price
Change, Volume Change, and % Volume Change. In this view you
can edit data, perform splits, merge data, perform disbursements,
etc. Notice the aqua colored line in the Data Window. This shows
you that on this day, the relationship of the Open, High, Low,
and Close are abnormal for this symbol. A yellow highlight -
not shown - designates a possible split.
- Lower Right
Window - This
is a Chart Window where the symbol's raw data is displayed in
a graphic format. The example chart above includes the Right
Time Study, a 50 day moving average and a 200 day moving average.
In this view you can draw lines, add text, and apply studies
like stochastics or rsi, etc.
